On Thursday, 3rd July 2008, we will have no computers working in the surgery, and only partial use on Friday 4th July.

This will mean that we will be unable to access any patient records or produce any repeat prescriptions during this time.

NO NORMAL APPOINTMENTS
NO BOOKING OF APPOINTMENTS
NO TEST RESULTS

We would ask that all patients ask in ample time for their repeat medication. You will still be able to use the internet to order your prescriptions – it is the preparation of the prescription by our staff that will be delayed by the upgrade.

EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS ONLY

Only emergencies will be seen on the 3rd July – for problems that cannot wait until the following day – all patients requesting an appointment will be assessed by a clinician on the phone who will then book an appointment for them if appropriate.

On the 3rd July we will be seeing emergencies only, there will be no pre-bookable appointments, and we would ask that you bear with us during this short time, by only contacting the surgery or requesting an emergency appointment if you have a problem that cannot wait until we have full access to your medical records.

Emergency appointments will be available morning and afternoon but we will be closing the building for part of the day for staff training to make the best use of the day.
